Always use the same network on both sides and keep your wallet on the Base network.
Wrong network = lost money
The same USDC exists on several networks. Pick the withdrawal network and see what reaches your wallet.
Check the network in your wallet
In MetaMask, open the network list and pick Base. If it shows a +, click the + to add it.
